Online Tutor, MA in Creative Writing

Elizabeth has always wanted to be a writer, with early stories including ‘The Hamster Who Ate the Rainbow’. Whilst her taste has matured since childhood, her need to write has never wavered. She finds it a joy to work with MA students who share this passion, and her goal is to offer each student the experience she received whilst studying Creative Writing: enthusiasm, support, inspiration and motivation, and a friendly face.

Elizabeth aims to ensure a quick turnaround of feedback and offer realistic goals. The online format is excellent for inclusivity and independent research, and each new cohort brings exciting new worlds and debate to the growing area of Genre Fiction.

Elizabeth is passionate about demonstrating the variety and originality within Genre Fiction, believing strongly that even the fantastical and frightening can offer truths to readers. It is exciting that more students are turning not only to writing, but also that genres which have been critically overlooked in the past are now getting the attention they deserve
