KR Moorhead is a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, where they earned their MA in Creative Writing: Prose Fiction in 2007. They have been teaching since the publication of their novel, The First Law of Motion in 2009. They have been a fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2018, and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education Practice and Research.
As a freelance writing mentor, they run courses like Writing from Lived Experience, Writing Speculative Fiction, and Developing a Writing Practice, as well as working one-to-one with writers at various stages of their writing career.
