Applications
You'll be able to find the qualifications you need for your chosen masters course on the relevant course page.
Generally, you’ll need to hold an undergraduate degree (a BA or a BSc) or international equivalent.
Don’t worry if you don’t hold an undergraduate degree. If you have appropriate professional experience in your chosen subject area, you may be able to apply based on your experience. Your application will be considered and accepted at the Course Director’s discretion.

To apply for our online masters courses, head to our Apply now page and scroll down to the ‘Choose your course’ section.
Click the ‘Apply now’ button for the course you want to join, and you’ll be taken to the University of Hull application portal.
Then, click ‘Start your application’, and you’ll be invited to create a new user account (on the right-hand side of the page). Enter your personal email address and set a password to create your MyHull account.
Once you’ve done this, you can start, save, and resume your application at any time up until the deadline date.
If you’ve got all your required documents and personal statement ready, it takes around 5-10 minutes to apply online.

Fees and funding
We want to make it as easy and convenient as possible for you to pay your course fees.
You can make payments online, over the phone using a credit or debit card or by bank transfer. Please visit our How to pay page for more information.
Yes, we do. You can choose to pay for your course fees in 6 instalments, which are spread throughout the duration of your studies. Otherwise, you can pay your fees in full before you begin your course.

As an online student
As soon as you're accepted onto any of our online Masters courses, we welcome you as a fully-registered student with the University of Hull.
This means you'll be eligible for a University of Hull student ID card, which provides physical proof of your status as a student with us. You may also be able to use it to access a variety of student discounts.
When you graduate from your chosen online master's course, your degree will have the exact same academic weight as that of an on-campus student.
The degree certificate you receive from the University of Hull will be identical to those received by our on-campus students and won’t include the word ‘online’.
