Rameez Kureshi

Programme Director, MSc in Artificial Intelligence

Rameez has expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science and the Internet of Things (IoT). He combines research in these areas to address environmental and societal challenges. 

Prior to joining the University of Hull, Rameez worked on two European Commission Funded projects: LifeCritical and Smart Cities and Open Data REuse (SCORE) with nine European cities and three other Universities.

He has international teaching experience of more than four years in various Computer Science and AI subjects.

  • Presenting research on the use of AI for environmental challenges at a number of international forums including the ACM conference on the Internet of Things, the IEEE 7th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT) and the International Conference on IoT and its Applications 

  • Getting the runner-up best paper award at the Annual Innovative Engineering Research Conference (AIERC) in 2021.
