# MA Creative Writing students seek inspiration in the countryside

Our next face-to-face event will see students gather at a creative writing retreat.

 

MA Creative Writing students and academics will meet in Northamptonshire, UK for a weekend of writing together.

 

It's the latest in the University of Hull's [face-to-face events](https://online.hull.ac.uk/why-join-us/online-student-experience), providing an opportunity for online students to build the networks that are so important for [professional writers](https://online.hull.ac.uk/blog/creative-writing-careers).

 

Over the weekend of 5th to 7th November, there will be a series of workshops, writing sessions and opportunities to get to know each other.

 

The group will meet at a country estate and seek inspiration in the beautiful surroundings for their writing.
