Roberto is a full-time lecturer at the University of Hull within the Management Systems and Economics subject groups where he lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His main area of specialisation is about the use and application of Macroeconomics and Systems Thinking in the context of enterprise decision-making. This is where most of his consultancy work has taken place.
Roberto worked as researcher within the Mexican Presidential Office during the 2000-2006 Presidential term. He worked for over twenty years at the Tecnologico de Monterrey University System (ITESM) in Mexico as an academic and University Manager as well as the ITESM UK international liaison with governmental and academic institutions in Europe.
As a consultant he has done projects for the manufacturing, service, and public sector. He’s a member of the Editorial Board of Systems Research and Behavioural Management Journal and the International Journal of Social Economics. Roberto’s current research is in the area of population dynamics, the economics of health and their impact on public finance and consumption.
